This article will cover important considerations regarding cloud security visibility and control.
  • Countering Gender Disparity: Creating Anti-Predictions Using Data Science, by Lori L. Cole - ISSA member, Blue Ridge Chapter. Gender disparity is a complex phenomenon that can be observed today in organizational climates, processes, and practices. This article will examine the state of gender disparity in the cybersecurity sector and nominate anti-predictions (actions to challenge standing predictions) to change its future state.

  • Lost Cryptographics Keys - Lessons from Gerald Cotton, by Steve Kirby - ISSA member, Greater Spokane Chapter. The death of the sole individual holding a company's cryptographic keys resulted in the loss of over $140M in assets. This paper discusses cryptocurrencies, the risks inherent in them due to the use of keys, and steps that should be taken or considered to address those risks.

  • Anonymous Digital Signatures, by Phillip H. Griffin - ISSA Fellow, Raleigh Chapter. Though anonymous digital signatures have been around for quite a while and implemented in many products, there is now a renewed interest of their application in new and emerging technologies such as electronic voting, cryptocurrencies, blockchains, distributed ledgers, payments, and smart contracts.
